Lesson 21
25 August 2020
He was picked up by Buddha.
Before the book, a public case related to the Tibetan Buddha.
In the Song dynasty, a Zhiqi Zhiji was too old for a nymph who wanted to hide Buddha in the world of Elysium. She paid the painter to draw three Buddha statues, an Amida Buddha statue, a Buddha statue, and a Buddha statue.
Once upon a time, the Great Three of the West were the Buddha of Amida, the Buddha of the World and the Buddha of Greatness, but because of her special belief in the hidden Buddha, she drew the hidden Buddha of the land as a threat to the Buddha.
Once the painter has done so, the philosophies invite the portrait home, where they worship daily in good faith.
One day, the wind blew her house down, along with three icons inside. She went out to look for it the next day and found none, especially sad, so she prayed to hide the Buddha. In a short time, she saw something floating far away in the air, slowly approaching her and finally falling near her. She looked at it and found it was her lost icon. She was very pleased with the loss of the icon. She took the statue back and kept it at home.
Two years later, she told her friend, "The Buddha will pick me up tomorrow. " ... " The next day, after she had spoken 108 times the holy names of Buddha, the Prophet and the Buddha of Amida, she sat on her back to make peace. [1]
It's not too colory.
We know from this public case that, on the one hand, the possession of a place to hide the Buddha can go to the world of joy. On the other hand, the statue of Buddha has incredible strength. Whether it is an icon of gold, silver, copper, iron, resin, or a picture of Buddha on Donka, or even a mobile phone, or a picture of Buddha on a computer, the power it brings is truly incredible. Therefore, as Buddhists, we should treat our icons of dignity, air and law with clarity and humility. This is very important.
Not only is that true of Buddhism, but the power of image is also valued throughout the world. For example, when promoting a culture, people often rely on portraits to show their spirit; when people worship a king or a monarch, they also use his portrait to strengthen their influence; and star chasers post pictures of their idols on their beds. When we went to college, we saw a lot of college students putting their favorite stars, singers and ball stars by the bedside.
I went to a Buddhist college a while ago, and in a dormitory of a few young family members, I hung Donka in Buddha's house with pictures of modern singers. I asked a responsible old Lama, "Who is this?" The old Lama said, "I don't know, I don't know now that the monk likes this, "I said, "You don't know the meaning of this."
Conversely, some world schools also have Buddha statues, which means that they worship not only the stars, but also the teachers and the Buddha.
We can't deny the "symmetry" role. Some people seem to think it's stubborn about the "symmetry". Of course, if you really get to the point where there's no need for these "sights." And before it is reached, the heart turns with it, and the good with the evil with the environment and with what it does.
The God of the Earth.
This is followed by the eleventh item of the Book, which is mainly about the story between the Gods and the Buddhas.
Earth goddess.
The Gods of Valour are a witness to Buddha's path under the Buddha tree.
And before Buddha's path came to pass, the Devil's Potem and thousands of demons came to interfere. Buddha said to the Devil, "You can't hurt me. The only reason that you were born to be the Lord of Satan in heaven is because you provided for a single food on the Day of Ramadan. And I've fed a lot of Buddhas and Arohans in the three great monks, and you can't hurt me because you've put your head to life a thousand times with grief."
"I have accumulated wealth, and you have testified to me. But you said that you had accumulated money in the Three Monks?"
