Good: looking at the pain of ageing

After the end of our hearts, we observe the suffering of humankind, the first three of which have gone through a fundamental ordeal, and now eight of them (living, old, ill, dying, love, hatred, desire and desire) and today we speak of old.

There's nothing left to live in and die of. Ageing is a natural pattern in the cycle. Broadly speaking, from the moment of birth to the moment of death, every second is a process of ageing.

In a narrow sense, the King of France, who says that he is usually an elderly person after 40 years of age, clearly feels the pain of ageing, especially when he is 60 or 70. Some may be young and not yet felt; some may feel the pain of ageing at the same age as me; others are now feeling the pain of ageing.

Whoever it is, you must feel it. You must go this way. It is also a wake-up call to think of old and old, to truly break the pain of old and old, and only if there is a return to life from the cycle.

The pain of ageing is in five ways:

I. REDUCTION OF THE STEPS

In the front line, it is said that nothing in the circle is material and never ends. The pain of ageing is felt when people are eating, drinking and enjoying their lives without realizing it. In the late years, Zhou's physical strength will decline, and the fragrance of better foods will not be digested, even when he/she is his favorite when he/she is young.

One by one, the decline:1. Eye recession; 2 Ear recession; 3 Tequila recession; 4 Pyramid recession

1. Eye-deepness:The vision decreases, the old eyes are dazzled, and far away objects or small objects are simply not visible. The elderly are therefore required to wear old glasses, even with magnifying glasses.

2. Ear root recession:No matter how loud people speak, they can't hear.

3. Tequila recession:These foods are popular at a young age, but the taste of food is not available at an old age, and it is not clear what to say.

4. The root recession:The most serious is the deep-rooted recession. Weaknesses, disillusioned, very forgetful and always faint. Some older persons even suffer from dementia, which is even more terrible. The memory of young people is good, but at the age of old, the mind declines, and sometimes the people who see it are forgotten. As we age, the mind doesn't seem to be the same as the other person. He's got Alzheimer's. He can't even talk about Amida Buddha. He can't even live with his heart.

This time back to my home, I saw an old gypsy who came with me to the college with Alzheimer's. Although she owns more than $3,000 a month, she doesn't know anything, she doesn't know his name, she doesn't read Amida Buddha.

So the physical pain is a little decay, or it's a very serious disease, which has not yet taken root.

Once the root decline is a very scary thing, even if it's healthy enough to eat, sleep, look beautiful and do nothing. Because on the day of the decline of the roots, even a matter of kindness, a wish and a thought is impossible. So we understand the pain of old age, and we have to learn the law when we are young. A man, with his or her own ability, falls into a very poor position.

II. REDUCTION OF APPLICATION

The teeth in the mouth will fall off, chew hard foods, talk in and out of their mouths, heat disorders, a little thinness of the clothes, and they will feel cold enough, with less support, to bear the heavy clothes. Even though the desire for goodness is to be used, it is not enough.

As a result of the loss of the body ' s wind veins, tolerance and tolerance are extremely weak. So we usually say that the older we are, the younger we are, the more vulnerable we are, the more vulnerable we are, the more we are, the more we are.

At an advanced age, the body produces chronic diseases and sufferings that are unbearable.

III. Flow down

At a young age, they act quickly and speak quickly, but at an old age, their energy declines. Sitting down, the activities were panting, and it was difficult. When you sit down, because of the pain of the arm and foot, you cannot sit down slowly, sometimes with crutches and slowly, but in the end you can't support the weight of the body, you can just go down like a heavy object fell on the ground.

All of this means that there is a decline in strength, that there is no going down, that there is no going down, that there is no going down, that there are times when there are no clothes, that there is no talking, and that there is no strength. These are reflected in old age.

IV. A plethora of recessions

As the Mirazhpazos have described, older persons are covered in gutters and wrinkles, both on their bodies and on their faces, because of their near exhaustion and the concentration of their skins. There was a decrease in flesh and blood in the body and a slow drying of the flesh between the bones and skin, which exposed the bone and all the cheeks and joints were highlighted.

At this point, even once very beautiful, the image of an angry mother is now visible. Some older persons are afraid of old age and go to plastic surgery, but nothing to do with the appearance can stop the disorder. Older persons truly need to learn from their old age at its root, to live in a world of joy. There is no aging in the world of Elysium, always young and beautiful. So old age is bound to decline.

Life expectancy decline

When you're old, it means near death. Some of the elderly do not bear the pain of ageing and therefore wish to die as soon as possible, but in fact all the elderly are very afraid to die. There is nothing to be afraid of, and death is inevitable. At the end of the day, when the pain reached the extreme, it was towards death, and it was even more unbearable.

Ageing seems to be slow, for example, with a little white hair, a little tooth loss and a little wrinkle increase.

In Tibet, one of the great Deguin Erwagsi said that he was growing up, so he could bear it. If a moment comes, there is no room for patience.

If a man wakes up in the morning with all his hair white, all his face is wrinkled, and his teeth are taken off, he can't feel it. It is because of the beginning that we feel okay, but the fact is that old pain really brings us closer and closer to death.

So knowing the pain of old age, we have to look at ourselves. Everyone is dying and dying. This can be seen from ourselves, for example, when one day you can't call his name when you see someone far away who's familiar, that's an expression of ageing. The old man's bitterness, not the others, is about us.

Some are feeling that pain, some will feel it in the future and others very strongly.

We, as middle-aged older persons, see the pain in ourselves, and sometimes we look at ourselves, even though we have not yet reached that point, but look at ourselves, with poor memory, often forgetful, brainwashed and mental problems.

I often have the feeling that there are more things or more things, that the head doesn't turn, or that the name of someone else cannot be called; or that there are times when something has to be written, when a pen has to be drawn up, and when a word is forgotten, there are times when the mind is blank. These are signs of ageing, and they're in a very stupid state.

所以这种老苦让人非常害怕,虽然表面上衰老很恐怖,但它刚发出这些信号时,就告诉我们正在一天一天地衰老,一天一天地走向死亡。从这里我们要知道,只要在轮回当中,有漏五蕴是有为法,当你还有福德力时它就显现出它的活力、它的能量、它的功用,当它耗尽时就会沦落到很低、很悲惨的状态。

所以我们趁年轻时要抓紧时间精进闻思修行,不要等到老的时候,干不动了、思维不动了,再来学佛、再来修行就非常困难。所以了知衰老的痛苦,一个是鞭策我们精进修行,再一个真正对轮回生起出离心。在轮回当中避免不了这种痛苦,只有真正脱离轮回才能从根本上断除这种痛苦。

后行回向善根:最后回向善根,让一切众生都能脱离生老病死的痛苦,获得永恒的佛果。

一、气力的衰退:

人到垂暮之年,因体力丧失而难以站立,行动不便;年轻的时候行动很敏捷,说话也是很快,但是年老的时候气力就很衰退。行住坐卧,活动活动都是气喘吁吁,感到困难重重。

就如米拉日巴尊者所形容的,年事已高的老人,站起来时,不能自然而然立即起来,必须要两手撑地,那姿势就像从坚硬的大地中拔出木桩一样。

二、诸根的衰退

因诸根功能衰退而眼观不清,耳闻不明,记忆模糊;逐一分析诸根的衰退:

1、眼根衰退:视力会减退,老眼昏花,根本看不清远处的景物或细小的物体。所以老年人要戴老花眼镜,甚至拿放大镜来看字。

2、耳根衰退:无论别人说话多大声,都听不清楚。

3、舌根衰退:年轻的时候喜欢这些美食,但是年老时品尝不出饮食的味道,而且说起话来也是口齿不清。

4、意根衰退:意根衰弱,神志不清、非常健忘,总是昏昏沉沉。有的老年人甚至会出现老年痴呆症,更为可怕。年轻时记忆力很好,但是到了年老时意根逐渐衰退,有时候看到的人已经忘记了,认不清。越来越衰老时,得老年痴呆症的话,智力好像跟旁生都没有差别。以前学佛的得了老年痴呆症,连句阿弥陀佛也提不起来,连求往生的心都发不出来。

三、受用的衰退

因识力丧失而思维外散,心胸狭隘,爱发脾气;由于身体的风脉明点衰退,而造成承受力、忍耐力都极其的薄弱,如孩童般无有主见,感觉粗大;平时讲老小老小,越老就越好像小孩一样心里非常的脆弱,受不了打击,稍微有一点波动,心理就会产生很大的苦受。

年纪大的时候,因内在身心改变而遭受诸多疾病损害,令众人心不悦意,身体生起各种慢性的疾病,各种病苦的折磨,都是难以忍受的。

四、盛色的衰退

年轻的时候再怎么漂亮,但到年老的时候,原先挺直的身体会变成弯腰驼背,就像弓一样的,皮肤又会变得又干又硬,身上是皮包骨头,满脸的皱纹,身上有很多黑色、褐色的老年斑,头发也白了,牙齿也掉了,非常难看。

到这个时候,即便以前非常美丽,现在却示现忿怒母的形象。有的老年人怕老,就去整容,但是再怎么从表面上做也没办法阻挡无常的规律。老年人真正要从根本断除衰老就要精进的念佛,求往生极乐世界。到了极乐世界没有衰老,永远都是青春美貌。所以到了老年盛色必然会衰退。

五、寿量的衰退

到了年纪大的时候就意味着接近死亡。有的老年人实在承受不了衰老的痛苦,所以希望尽快死去,虽口口声声说愿意死,但是实际上所有的老人又非常害怕面临死亡。虽然害怕也没办法,必然要走向死亡。到最后老到了极点,痛苦到了极点,就是走向死亡。这个时候,这种痛苦是更没办法忍受。

六、如何对待身边的老人

我们身边如果有老年人,应尽量去帮助他们。他们跟年轻人不相同,心理承受能力较差,稍微对他瞪一眼,或者说一句重话,他就会特别伤心。老年人的身体也很脆弱,轻轻碰一下就倒在地上,看起来非常可怜。

七、观察自身

我们作为中老年人看到这种痛苦要想到自己,有的时候虽然还没达到这种地步,但看看自己,记性变差,经常健忘,脑袋发蒙,思维问题一下子不转了。我经常有这种感觉,事情多了或者说的内容多了,头就不转了,或者喊别人的名字喊不出;或者有时要写点东西,提起笔来,一个字忘记写就想不起来了;有时候思维是一片空白。这些显现都是已经衰老的信号,这已经处在很愚痴的状态了。

所以这种老苦让人非常害怕,虽然表面上衰老很恐怖,但它刚发出这些信号时,就告诉我们正在一天一天地衰老,一天一天地走向死亡。从这里我们就知道,只要在轮回当中,有漏五蕴是有为法,当你还有福德力时它就显现出它的活力,它的能量,它的功用,当它耗尽时就会沦落到很低、很悲惨的状态。我们每个人最后都会变成这样。

八、鞭策精进修持正法

所以我们趁年轻时要抓紧时间精进闻思修行,不要等到老的时候,干不动了、思维不动了,再来学佛、再来修行就非常困难。所以了知衰老的痛苦,一个是鞭策我们精进修行,再一个真正对轮回生起出离心。在轮回当中避免不了这种痛苦,只有真正脱离轮回才能从根本上断除这种痛苦。

因此,我现在必须修持正法,以获得无老无死的菩提果位。
